What Repairs Cost is a home-services referral service operated by Hoang Ho Thanh Truc. We publish local cost guidance for urgent home repairs and connect homeowners by phone with independent licensed contractors serving their area.

What we are

A referral service. We maintain the pages, the local price research and the phone connections. That is the whole of what we do.

What we are not

We are not a contractor, a licensed trade business, a franchise, or a dispatcher employing technicians. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, warrant or guarantee any work. Every contractor you are connected with is an independent business, responsible for their own licensing, insurance, pricing, scheduling and workmanship.

How we choose what to publish

Price ranges on this site are researched for the specific area the page covers and are stated as ranges, because that is what they are. They are guidance for budgeting, not quotes. A contractor who has seen the job will always know more than a page does.

We do not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, because we are not in a position to verify them. Where we say something about a contractor, it is something they represent about themselves — and we would encourage you to ask for a licence number and confirm it yourself when they arrive.

How we make money

Contractors pay us a referral fee for calls that lead to work. We do not charge homeowners anything, and the referral fee does not change the price you are quoted. We think you should know this before you call rather than after, which is why it appears on every page of this site.
