What this service is
What Repairs Cost, operated by Hoang Ho Thanh Truc, is a referral service. We publish information about common home repairs and connect you by telephone with independent contractors who serve your area. We are not a contractor and hold no trade licence. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, schedule, price, warrant or guarantee any work.
The relationship is between you and the contractor
Any agreement for work is made directly between you and the contractor. We are not a party to it. We do not employ contractors, control what they charge, guarantee their availability, or verify their work. Each contractor is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, conduct and workmanship.
We would strongly encourage you to ask any contractor for their licence number and proof of insurance, and to get the price in writing before work begins.
Information on this site is guidance, not a quote
Price ranges, timescales and descriptions of work published here are general guidance for the area the page covers. They are not quotes, estimates or offers, and they are not a substitute for a contractor inspecting the job. Actual prices vary with access, materials, timing, local rates and what is found once work begins. Nothing here is professional, legal, structural or safety advice.
Emergencies
If you have a gas leak, a fire, an electrical hazard or any situation posing a risk to life or property, contact your utility provider or emergency services first. This site is not an emergency service and we cannot dispatch anyone.
How we are paid
Contractors may pay us a referral fee for calls placed through this site that lead to work. We do not charge you, and the fee does not change the price you are quoted. The presence of a referral relationship means our pages are commercial, and you should treat them as such.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to place fraudulent, automated or nuisance calls; to scrape, copy or republish our content; to interfere with the site's operation; or for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The text, layout and design of this site belong to Hoang Ho Thanh Truc unless stated otherwise. You may read and print pages for your own use. You may not republish them commercially without our permission.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from work carried out by a contractor, from any dealing between you and a contractor, or from reliance on price guidance published here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
